HONG KONG (June 30): Hong Kong cantopop king Jacky Cheung (pictured) has recently put up his luxury duplex in The Somerset in Repulse Bay for sale with an asking price of HK$430 million (RM230 million), reported Eight Days.
According to the Singapore entertainment and lifestyle news website, the property was originally a two duplex unit, which Cheung renovated and combined into one and has a total built-up of 4,655 sq ft.
This is one of Cheung’s properties that is also owned by his wife, former actress May Lo. The couple, who are also savvy property investors, purchased the units for a total of HK$ 46.3 million back in 1993 and 2004.
The couple and their children have been staying there for years and recently moved to a new home, and hence decided to let go of the unit.
According to the report, Cheung currently owns at least five properties with a total market value of around HK$800 million. He also purchased two industrial units in Chai Wan for HK$13.8 million back in 2017.
